Price Updates & Exciting Changes at Black House Salon

At Black House Salon, we’re always looking at how we can continue to improve the experience we offer, both in the chair and beyond it. As part of that, we’ve recently reviewed some of our service pricing.
From today, there will be adjustments to selected services across the salon. All updated prices are now live and available to view on Fresha, and these changes take effect immediately.
As always, we want to be completely transparent. Some of our stylists are self-employed, which means they set their own pricing. Because of this, you may notice that some team members have adjusted their prices, while others have chosen to keep theirs the same.
These changes allow us to continue delivering the level of service, time, and attention that we believe every client deserves, while also supporting the growth and sustainability of the team.

A New Chapter: Introducing Maria Nila
Alongside these changes, we’re really excited to share that we are transitioning from Kevin Murphy to Maria Nila across the salon.
This is something we’ve taken our time with. Product choice is a big decision for us, and it has to align with how we work behind the chair, as well as the results we want to deliver for you at home.
Maria Nila brings a fresh energy to the salon. The range is 100% vegan and cruelty-free, with a strong focus on performance, sustainability, and hair health. Most importantly for us, the products do exactly what we need them to do in a working salon environment, while still being simple and effective for clients to use day-to-day.

Over the coming weeks, you’ll start to see this change fully rolled out at backwash and styling stations. As a team, we’ll be building our knowledge around the range so we can confidently guide you on what’s right for your hair.
Expect more tailored recommendations, better home care routines, and honest advice about what will actually make a difference to your hair between appointments.
